Infinitum

They say Infinitum is the city at the center of the multiverse. The evidence certainly points in that direction, from the paths that wend their way into every other world to being the purported origin point of humanity. Even if it is not the literal center, it is certainly the metaphorical one. To walk into Infinitum is to see things from every realm, magical wonders and impossible beings. To envision the City, begin by picturing Paris just before the French Revolution -- impressive, decadent, with an over-the-top aesthetic. But remember, there is a sense of history that will not be denied, of a city whose roots go back longer than memory. A cosmopolitan populace walks the cobbled streets, people from across the world flocking to the center of culture.

Now, take all that and make it more -- Infinitum's past predates history; the grandeur includes floating buildings and architecture impossible according to conventional physics; the visitors to the City come from across a multitude of worlds -- a dog-faced man walking beside a tentacled blob and a sapient weather pattern. What we would call magic, they call mundane: the streetlamps are lit by living flame; mystically linked pieces of parchment send messages across the City instantaneously; roots burst through the ground to demolish buildings.

This book is organized in several sections. First is the portion dedicated to creating an imaginary denizen of Infinitum to act as your avatar -- a Player Character. The second section lays out the rules used in the Fate Core RPG and how they apply to the city of Infinitum. The third section is a gazetteer, a guidebook to everywhere and everyone you might care to know about Infinitum.
