Welcome to the world behind the world. A datastream known as the Signal underlies reality, describing all things in the universe. A network of spies have learned to access the Signal to learn intelligence and grant themselves superhuman abilities. In this game where The Matrix meets The Bourne Identity, their factions war back and forth over access to the Signal and the power it represents.

Reality, Redacted uses the Cortex Prime rule system (cortexrpg.com), the latest edition of the ruleset that powered such games as Firefly, Leverage, and Marvel Heroic Roleplaying.

The book includes:

  • Six operational specialties, armed with numerous reality-hacking programs for reshaping the world.
  • Twelve factions of reality-bending spies.
  • Complete rules--a copy of Cortex Prime is not required.
  • GM advice on how to run a fun, safe game.
  • Bookmarks, hyperlinks, and a complete index to make navigating the book a breeze.
  • A whole host of NPCs ready to challenge your players.
  • A starter adventure and sample characters.
  • A boatload of awesome photographic art.
  • A glossary of spy lingo to help immerse you in the world of intelligence.
  • Reference cards for key game concepts.
  • PDF files in both 16x9 format for laptop screens and letter-size for tablets, with and without appendices, plus a black-and-white printer-friendly version with most of the art stripped out.

Hey, everyone! New game by Psychogenesis Games, the urban fantasy horror comedy AmerArcana:

Hey, everyone! I've put out a spiritual sequel, Crosstime--a game of time-traveling espionage powered by Fate. Check it out here: https://psychogenesis-games.itch.io/crosstime

Just an FYI, this isn't tagged with the system, which will help in discoverability. I would use cortex-prime-rpg because there are already gams with that tag.

Are you sure? The system says it's tagged, with a number of tags I decided on like "spies" "rpg" and "superpowers". I'll add "cortex-prime-rpg", that's a good idea.

Hi.What's the appropriate place to ask questions about the game? (I mean, other than here, which is not really practical.)

As this is a commercially licensed Cortex Prime game, perhaps there could be a #reality-redacted channel in their official Discord server? Or does Psychogenesis Games have one of their own?

We now have a Discord server set up! Here is an invite for anyone who's interested: https://discord.gg/8eAMCm8QKH

The not-printer-friendly versions are very nice, but slow (specially in a low-end tablet). The printer-friendly version is faster, but b&w.

Perhaps there would be some way to optimize the color versions?

No promises, but I'll see if I can make a faster color version that doesn't look like garbage.

Thanks!

Okay, there are now two lo-fi options. 1 is the printer-friendly version but in color. 2 is the extended letter edition but at 96 dpi. Hopefully one or the other will work for you.

Yeah, I've tried the 96dpi version and it's much faster. Thanks!
